The Gift of Care

What we collect

When you submit a nomination, we collect the nominee's name and the email address and/or phone number you provide; your relationship to the nominee; your written nomination; and your own name, email address and (optionally) phone number.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to run The Gift of Care: to review nominations, select a recipient, contact the selected nominee, and confirm your nomination with you. If you separately opt in, we will also use your email address to send you news and offers from The Spa at Olivine. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Information about the nominee

Because nominees provide no information themselves, we only contact a nominee if they are selected. We will not add nominees to any marketing list.

Who can see it

Nominations can be seen only by our nomination committee and the staff who run The Gift of Care. We do not sell or share this information. Nomination data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers in Canada.

How long we keep it

We will delete nomination information within [90] days after the recipient is announced, except for records we are legally required to keep.

Your choices

To access, correct or withdraw a nomination, or to ask that your information be deleted, contact hello@thespaatolivine.com. If you were nominated and would prefer not to be considered, contact us and we will remove your nomination.
